Technical Details

This is the version 2.3 of LuQi.
It requires 5 MB of free space on your Hard Disk.
It does not pollute your PC and is easy to uninstall.
Minimum configuration: PC + Windows 95,98, Millenium, NT or 2000.

Functionalities of this version

1. The program builds the Flying Stars chart of a house, from its facing direction and building period (Compass school, Xuan Kong Feng Shui).
   Notion of Replacement Chart if the orientation is within the limit of certain zones.

2. Analysis of this chart, sector after sector.
   For each combination of stars, a diagosis is issued, with advice concerning the cures.

3. Other Feng Shui method: East/West Method.
   A trigram is allocated to each house, from its facing direction. Four good and Four bad sectors are determined.
   
   A star is also allocated to each palace, and, together with the corresponding of the annual Luo Shu (magic square), this forms a couple of stars which is analyzed.
   
   Favourable and inauspicious 24 sectors are also determined via the Tien Xing method.

4. Mobiles stars are computed, for any date: the Yearly, Monthly, Daily and Hourly stars.
   From the Feng Shui point of view and from the 9 Star Ki point of view. (In 9 Star Ki, the number of the year may be a 5, which is not possible in Feng Shui).

5. A lot of parameters depending on the current date are computed:
   - Current period (7 presently, 8 after the 4th of February 2004... ),
   - Four Pillars of this date,
   - Lunar Mansions,
   - Auspicious periods,
   - Favourable and inauspicious Gods and Directions,
   - I Ching Hexagram of the current date...

6. You can also examine the astrological charts of the inhabitants:
   - Four Pillars (Ba Zi astrology), 9 Star Ki, the charts are built and analyzed.
   - The Ba Zi (Four Pillars of the Destiny) is one of the Chinese means to evaluate and appreciate the elemental structure of somebody.
   
   Remark: This program deals with both Solar and Lunar Chinese Calendars.

7. A Glossary on the main notions of the Feng Shui, as well as general advice are provided.
