Studying rhythms is our
passion and our job. We thus became experts in chinese
calendars, which are well-known even in China: some of
our programs compute solar or lunar months ephemerides
for any date, and for any reference location.

Rhythms
It is often admitted
that we are under the influence of the daily 24-hour
rhythm due to the Earth Rotation: it is called the
circadian rhythm.
Another one easy to admit is the
29.5-day cycle of the Moon: its effects on tides, plate
tectonics, marine organisms, vegetation and women are
visible.
There is also the natural rhythm of
the seasons and of the year, linked to the Earth
Revolution around the Sun...
Another one is the 11-year cycle of
the sunspots, which are eruptions ejecting huge
quantities of particles into the space, and which can
provoke terrible geomagnetic storms as the one which
paralysed Quebec on the 13th of March. Some consider they
are responsible of heart attacks. We are presently in the
middle of the 23rd cycle known by astronomers.
We are also subjected to the 12-year cycle of Jupiter,
which is well known in chinese astrology. Jupiter is
generally (sometimes wrongly) considered as a beneficial
planet and its transit every 12 years on an important
point of your astrological natal chart (the Ascendant for
instance, or the Midheaven) is very interesting to known
and to anticipate, it could be the right time to play at
the national lottery or to ask for a pay rise...
And the 30-year cycle of Saturn is far from being
innocent. It is well known, in Astrology, that someone
marked by Saturn will find his/her way around thirty and
will go through a new stage about sixty.
Besides, 60 years old is a
transitional period: it is the chinese sexagesimal cycle,
6 decades, 5 times the cycle of Jupiter, 2 cycles of
Saturn, the moment when for the first time, the 3
biorhythms re-synchronize, like at birth...
We must not forget the rhythm of
the sun, in its galactic path, with its period of 250
millions of years...

The famous periodicity of 60 years
corresponds to a new alignment of the Earth
with the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars
and Jupiter.
The first observation dates back to the year
2637 BC that became the first year of the
first cycle of 60 years.
The current Great Cycle is
the 26th one and it started on February 4th
1864. It will last until February 3rd 2044.
Since 1984 and until
February 2004, we are in the 7th
period of this Great Cycle.
This means among other things, that in Feng
Shui, the star associated with
the number 7 is predominant.
From February 2004, and for 20 years, it will
be the star 8... Many houses will then see
their harmony disrupted...

your couple or to consolidate your financial
