last version of the module, it will work
without problem.
Remark: Just save your local Base2.*

Data Base.

With Windows 3.11, you just need to edit the file

DEVICE=VSHARE.386
With Windows 95, this line becomes DEVICE=VSHARE.VXD

| 6. "I cannot decompress" or "the installation asks for a diskette...": |
1) Exit Windows and rerun it. This will remove all the temporary files, close other applications...
2) If the problem still exists, this means the file is
corrupted and need to be downloaded again.
See here
for Windows 95 or there
for Windows 3.11. You'll find all the downloading
possibilities.
3) If you have got the KingKosA.zip file, don't use old
DOS Unzip utilities for decompressing. Use Winzip or Netzip
instead.
4) If you have got the KingKosA.zip file, please decompress in a temporary directory, not in the final installation directory.
Remark: If you have got the
KingKosA.zip file, this means you do not have the latest
version of our software..
Two solutions:
A. You download the complete new version
(4 MB).
Advantage: you'll get a self-extractable file which allows a
fully automatic installation and does not
ask for an Unizip utility.
B. You continue your installation and download an update (1MB)
5) If you have downloaded KinKosA.exe file, read
herebelow is a message from InstallShield Corporation,
concerning this
problem: "The most common reason is that
the target system's TEMP variable is set to a directory which:
Please check that your machine's TEMP directory:
If this repertory contains too many files, try
moving or deleting a number of them, and then rerun the
installation.
If they cannot be removed, you have to exit Windows
and rerun it.
Also close all other running applications
including the applications running in the background, like
screen savers and
anti-virus programs."

| 8. "I cannot generate any Natal Analysis".... |
It is due to the location where is the Microsoft program
"Worpad.exe":
1) Locate it
with the search function of the Explorator Utility.
2) Edit (with
notpad) the file C:\KOS\THM.INI and check the path of Wordpad, in
the section [TEXTEPRO]:
=> Check this line:
WORDPAD=C:\Progra~1\Access~1\Wordpad.exe
Warning: respect the DOS syntax for this path: no name longer
than 8 characters.
For instance, Access Files becomes Access~1

These two softwares are independant. But they can be installed in the same directory (C:\KOS by default).
You can download both of them at http://www.delemme.com/etel.htm
Four Pillars (1.1 MB) only deals with one point: the Four Pillars of the Destiny (Zi Ping), a specific technique of Chinese Astrology.
King of the Stars (4 MB) deals
with another aspect of Chinese Astrology, Zi Wei Dou Shu,
but also with the Western Astrology. It is the only software in
the world being so complete.
