The best way is to enter:
- 2 digits for the Day

Year (i.e. 1972)
- Select the Chinese Hour (from
Rat to Pig), by selecting the corresponding line.
- Basically, the Calendar option
is set to Solar Calendar.
But some practitioners prefer the Lunar Calendar.
If it's your case, don't forget to select the Lunar
Calendar option.
- Indicate if the person is a Female
or a Male.
- Press the green

The software computes the Four Pillars of
this date in the right pannel.
Remark 1 : each time a
field is filled, the software computes (re-computes) the Four
Pillars of the new date in the right pannel.
Remark 2 : the field Name of the person is optional.
If you indicate a name, it will be used in the analysis.
Remark 3 : the notion of Chinese Calendar (thoroughly
explained in the different helps of the LuQi
software), is automatically dealt with by the software.
The Analysis button,
bottom right, generates the complete analysis of this Ba
