You think you know it, the Yin and the Yang, the 5 elements, the 12 animals: the Rat, the Buffalo, the Tiger... But to truly practise it (at least the Zi Wei Dou Shu Astrology), and to draw convincing results, it is necessary to add 109 energies that finally allow to establish the real Chinese chart. This energy card displays the whole existence, Decade by Decade, Year by Year, Moon by Moon... and even Hour by Hour. It is then easy to distinguish periods of success, of neutrality, or of failure: Chinese Astrology is a tremendous tool to determine the nature and the date of the main events of a life. Chinese and Western Astrologies are magnificently complementary: Western Astrology is best used to describe the inner personality while Chinese Astrology gives precise information about the external unfolding of a life. Besides, using both Astrologies helps to remove all ambiguities. It is not always simple for example, with
Western Astrology, to know if a transit of Saturn (a
transit occurs when a planet passes again on the position
it already had in the native chart) indicates the failure
of an enterprise, or the maturity of someone directing
all his/her energies to a long-term realization.In this
case, the study of the corresponding Chinese period
generally allows to decide.
He was born on the 28th of April 1937, during the Tiger hour. In the Destiny (see the chart below), there are three energies of the "Martial" group, the group of power struggles and clashes. But let us hear Mr. François Villée and An Vo Van Em's predictions published during the First Gulf War (1990):
[Introduction] [Analysis] [Conclusion]
As you can see below, it consists of a big rectangle (a paddy field) divided into twelve Boxes (plots of land), also called Palaces. Each box is named after an animal (the first box being the Rat and the twelfth one the Boar). These are the twelve Earthly Branches. There are also ten Heavenly Stems: Giap, At, Binh, Dinh.... 1998 for instance is a year Tiger of Mau (Wu-Yin in Chinese), while 1937 was Buffalo of Dinh (Ding-Chou in Chinese)... There are many other notions: Elements (Fire/Metal/Water/Wood/Earth), Seasons, Parities (Yin/Yang), Colors, Cardinal points... Moreover, each of the twelve boxes is associated with a domain of the existence (Parents, Luck, Property, Brothers and Sisters...). A Chinese Natal Chart may even be used to make personalized Feng Shui... Izi Wai helps you to draw
and analyze such a chart:
This chart is vigorous, lucky. The greatest problem comes from Severed Bar (S.B) in the destiny. This energy breaks and perverts the potentialities of the chart, and the presence of Void is no good omen. Let us first study the Destiny House (in the Tiger box, on the bottom left-hand side of the chart):
House of Luck: Seal in the destiny indicates responsibilities and dignities conferred by the State, and Officer favors promotions. Luck, as its name points out, is a star of protection : the native is lucky, particularly since the house of Luck is beautiful, with a lot of favorable energies (Dance, Banner, Blue Dragon...). But, once again, S.B, Void, Solitude and Crusher in the Destiny strongly moderate this luck that could otherwise have been exceptional. Moreover, Void in the destiny often indicates one or several impressive bankruptcies.
House of Family: General in the House of Union signs a married life disturbed by jealousy and violence. Cordon in the destiny gives a sensual personality, and though Benefactor in Union is generally favorable, it is here escorted by Thunder. Solitude in the Destiny caps it all: the native is not made for family happiness (Punishment and Cloud in the House of Children certainly do not help). House
of Vocation (or Profession): It corresponds
here to the second world, i.e. the destiny after the age
of thirty. It contains Demolisher in the Horse
box, the "Typhoon in the Sky", that foretells
plots and upheavals. Demolisher is usually similar
to the Scorpio sign of Western Astrology. In Vocation
House, this energy indicates success in time of war
and a profession requiring a liking for risk. Moreover,
it is in trine (with three boxes in between) with Seven
Swords and Aphrodite, and in opposition with Virgin:
the most ferocious energies of Chinese Astrology rule
this chart. Dissertation, Aid and Treasure
are excellent and favor professional success.
