AmigosNet is a social network that allows you to find interesting people, and to keep in touch with them (exchange of messages through an internal mail, classified ads...).
As these persons may live all over the world, you can refine your search specifying interests and goals, age, sex... but also a country, a city, or even a zip code.
Above all, there is one criterion which is worth its weight in gold, indeed the one that allows you to find those “interesting” people: the result of Amigos compatibility test.
It is a grade between 0 and 20 that measures your natural affinity with another person.
This test was developed for the Amigos application last year, and it was so well received that we have decided to use it for our social network.
This result helps you to choose people with whom you are likely to have a more gratifying relationship than with an unknown person taken at random.
Of course, you may ignore this indicator...
It’s your turn to try it: you only have to create your profile (it’s free) in AmigosNet Data Base.
You won’t have to give any confidential information: just choose a pseudonym and indicate your birth data (day, month, year).
From then on, you will be able to start searching.
At the same time, people who will have found you interesting will be able to contact you: they will leave a message for you on AmigosNet internal mail...
Examples of use:
With the option “Find interesting persons”, you can find near your home someone with the right age for you, having a natural affinity with you, who loves movies, or dancing, and who wants to go out.
Or who likes sports. Or reading, or hiking: i.e. find like minded people.
You can also use the “Classified Ads” to ask for a “sports partner”, or a “date”.
The list of the corresponding ads will be sorted according to the affinity with you...
The “Classified Ads” option allows you of course to post or consult standard ads (to sell or rent a house, to buy a car...) but it also gives you many other opportunities: to report an event, for instance a party, a dance or a performance.
The people interested will hopefully wish to contact you (especially if your profile shows that you like dancing and going out).
You can also offer your personal talents and expertise.
It then becomes easy for a New Yorker to find a specialist in ayurvedic medicine in India… and to see if there is a good compatibility between the two...
AmigosNet also allows you to “call a friend” (oun Amigo!) to help you when you need to answer a very precise question.
You may not know this friend yet, but he/she is there, he/she lives at the strategic place that is of such interest to you, and you will be able to ask him/her information that are practically impossible to find elsewhere.
All that only using your pseudonym.
Finally, you can also send a "message in a bottle", i.e. message sent to someone chosen at random in the whole community, but that you may select better if you wish, using a few filtering criteria: age, sex, country... Fate being a great provider, you may thus meet someone worth it!
Indeed, to quote a famous slogan, our goal is to connect people… but each time with a firm indication of the compatibility between the two persons.

1. When you join AmigosNet, you only need to give a pseudonym. Unlike most social networks which try to limit the use of pseudonyms.
